Designers Maud Bausier and Julia Bertolaso explored the implementation of OpenStructures methodology while working with waste materials. As part of an open call for cross border, digital collaborations, the duo used leftovers such as sawdust or recycled plastic to trial new composite materials using biological binders and mycelium. With these samples, they created various OS Parts and engaged with other makers to push the limits of modularity and demonstrated circular thinking in design.
