Reframe hack

Inspired by the human anatomy, Taiwanese born and Eindhoven based designer Jian Da Huang came up with a series of flat leather forms that can be attached to our bodies and complement it with playful add-ons. Adapting the dimensions and perforations to the OpenStructures design principles these abstract shapes function also as detachable stretchers and tie together any soft and hard elements of any built structure. Outcomes of the hacking workshop held by at the OpenStructures Studio in Brussels were exhibited at ‘Limits to Growth’ exhibition at CID Grand Hornu.
